The body is made of wheat flour mixed with water,
scales are made of Pistachio shells and
eyes made of black pepper.

Fantastic project Sashtika! Your pangolin is beautiful, and it was such a great idea to use baking products. Your poem is also incredible, you used such compelling imagery! I never realized how important crows are to the environment before – this was a wonderful topic for your poem!

Great work! I would love to know your inspiration for using the pistachio shells for your Pangolin. It is very creative. I also enjoyed your poem about crows. My favorite line is “a dark river flowing across the sky”. Beautiful!

What a wonderfully creative way to bring awareness to the trafficking of an endangered animal. From the poem, I particularly like the line “The glowing darkness of black beauty”. You have done great work here, it is obvious you put a lot of thought into the meaning of your poem.
